Apple has filed a patent for a system that would highlight the autocorrected terms in a text for both the sender and the receiver. The patent covers several ways to draw the user's attention to an autocorrected word such as a change in font colour and font size. However, the receiver won't be able to see the original words.

This could be done by changing the font size, style and colour, it says
Recipient can see changed words, but won't be able to see the original
Sender can also tap word that was replaced to send a clarifying message
