Election flying squad seizes money from Sarathkumar's car

The Samanthuva Makkal Katchi leader Sarathkumar is contesting from the Tiruchendur constituency on behalf of the AIADMK alliance. This morning about 4.30am he was travelling in his car and the election flying squad intercepted at Nallur near Thoothukudi and seized rupees nine lakhs of unaccounted money.

The flying squad officials handed over the seized money to the Tiruchendur treasury and have said that an investigation is going on and if Sarathkumar submits necessary documents to validate accounting for the amount it will be handed over to him
