In a new study, US-based researchers plan to uncover details about the life, death and appearance of Italian painter Leonardo Da Vinci by searching for his DNA in his work. Any genetic material found will be compared with DNA from his relatives' remains. The team aims to complete the work by 2019, to mark his 500th death anniversary.
