Petrol price hiked by ₹2.19; diesel by 98 paise

The price of petrol was on Monday raised by ₹2.19 per litre while that of diesel was increased by 98 paise per litre with the revised prices taking effect from midnight. After this revision, a litre of petrol will cost ₹61.87 in Delhi whereas diesel will retail at ₹49.31 per litre.
