Avoid the following foods:
  • Vegetable oil such as corn, sunflower, and safflower as they can cause inflammation
  • Soft drinks
  • Citrus fruits
  • Pure alcohol
  • Sodium and monosodium glutamate – this  increase the constriction of your bronchial tubes that the histamine causes
  • Animal products such as  eggs,  dairy, cow milk,  and meat
Here’s the list of food you should consume:
  • Hot, spicy mustard, garlic, pungent foods, chili peppers, and onion
  • Fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, mackerel and tuna
  • Fruits and juices with high antioxidants and vitamin C content
  • Brewed coffee with caffeine, or tea with theobromine
