Startup makes smart buckle for watches

Canadian startup Wearatec has developed a smart buckle, Link, that can be attached to a watch to display notifications such as incoming calls, texts and e-mails from the users' smartphone. The device features standard fitness tracking device properties and allows controlling devices like computers and tablets. It also features an NFC chip which the company claims will allow contactless payment.
