Pune scored 159/5 in 20 over after a half-century from Saurabh Tiwary. Man-of-the-match, Rohit Sharma's 85*(60) helped Mumbai chase down the target with 9 balls to spare.

Rohit said, "It was a great effort from bowlers although we didn't start too well, our fielding was disappointing. Restricting them to 160 was very creditable. The spinners and the fast bowlers in the middle did a great job. I've not had a great time batting first, but when I'm chasing, I get to plan my innings. The last 3 games we have played have been superb, we have a good week off to think about how to come back as a fresh unit. Bhajji and Rayadu, I'm sure are celebrating together off the field now and these things happen".
Dhoni said, "I don't think we batted well after the 10th over, including me. At times we kept thinking about what will happen if we lose wickets, which cost us. From now on, we should stop thinking so much and start expressing yourself. The bowling has shown improvement, there were quite a few good shots played. Given the number of games we have lost, we don't have too much to lose and should just enjoy the rest of the tournament".
Comprehensive win for the Mumbai Indians. Chasing 160, it was always going to be comfortable with their batting line up. They just needed one of the batsmen in the top order to fire and Rohit Sharma was that man tonight. Another special performance by Rohit as he lifts Mumbai to the 5th win in 9 games, making it 9 in a row. With this win, Mumbai Indians are now 2nd in the table. For Pune, it was very disappointing again as they should have posted a way bigger total given the start they had.
