1. Use a good shampoo

You MUST use a good shampoo. Often times our hair fall occurs due to the excessive harshness of the shampoos we choose. Always choose natural ones that have got good reviews and especially that suit the texture of your hair.

2. Wash your hair regularly

Many of us don’t shampoo our hair until it becomes sticky. Don’t wait until your hair has already damaged. Keep it fresh by shampooing on alternate days. But also keep in mind that you do not over wash your hair. Washing it two or three times a week is enough.

3. Always wash your hair with cold water

Washing your hair with cold water is always recommended. Don’t rinse your hair with hot water – if possible don’t’ even let hot water come in contact with your hair. It makes hair dry and causes breakage.

4. Combing and brushing properly

Combing your hair is the best way to tell it “it’s time to grow”. Be gentle while combing though. Use a proper comb with thicker tooth so that it can even out the tangles first.

5. Trimming at regular intervals

Trimming is the opposite of hair growth many thing. But it actually cuts out the split ends and makes the hair grow faster. So if you see no hair growth for many days, try trimming your hair.

6. Eat a balanced diet

Eat as many proteins as you eat minerals and carbohydrates. Proteins are often associated with faster hair and nail growth, but you have to eat a balanced diet to keep all the other functions working.
