Denies
Bloody Mary
She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage and sold herbal remedies for a living. Folks living in the town nearby called her Bloody mary, and said she was a witch. None dared cross the old crone for fear that their cows would go dry, their food-stores rot away before winter, their children take sick of fever, or any number of terrible things that an angry witch could do to her neighbors.
Then the little girls in the village began to disappear, one by one. No one could find out where they had gone. Grief-stricken families searched the woods, the local buildings, and all the houses and barns, but there was no sign of the missing girls. A few brave souls even went to bloody Mary's home in the woods to see if the witch had taken the girls, but she denied any knowledge of the disappearances. Still, it was noted that her haggard appearance had changed. She looked younger, more attractive. The neighbors were suspicious, but they could find no proof that the witch had taken their young ones.
The came the night when the daughter of the miller rose from her bed and walked outside, following an enchanted sound no one else could hear, The miller's wife had a toothache and was sitting up in the kitchen treating the tooth with an herbal remedy when her daughter left the house, She screamed for her husband and followed the girl out of the door. The miller came running in his nightshirt, Together, they tried to restrain the girl, but she kept breaking away from them and heading out of town.
The desperate cries of the miller and his wife woke the neighbors. They came to assist the frantic couple. Suddenly, a sharp-eyed farmer gave a shout and pointed towards a strange light at the edge of the woods. A few townsmen followed him out into the field and saw Bloody Mary standing beside a large oak tree, holding a magic wand that was pointed towards the miller's house. She was glowing with an unearthly light as she set her evil spell upon the miller's daughter.
The townsmen grabbed their guns and their pitchforks and ran toward the witch. When she heard the commotion, Bloody Mary broke off her spell and fled back into the woods. The far-sighted farmer had loaded his gun with silver bullets in case the witch ever came after his daughter. Now he took aim and shot at her. The bullet hit Bloody Mary in the hip and she fell to the ground. The angry townsmen leapt upon her and carried her back into the field, where they build a huge bonfire and burned her at the stake.
As she burned, Bloody Mary screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She had used their blood to make her young again.
From that day to this, anyone foolish enough to chant Bloody Mary's name three times before a darkened mirror will summon the vengeful spirit of the witch. It is said that she will tear their bodies to pieces and rip their souls from their mutilated bodies. The souls of these unfortunate ones will burn in torment as Bloody Mary once was burned, and they will be trapped forever in the mirror.

The meaning of colors can vary depending on culture and circumstances.
Each color has many aspects to it but you can easily learn the language of color by understanding a few simple concepts which I will teach you here.
Non-verbal Communication
Color is a form of non verbal communication. It is not a static energy and its meaning can change from one day to the next with any individual - it all depends on what energy they are expressing at that point in time.
For example, a person may choose to wear red on a particular day and this may indicate that this is their favorite (personality) color, orthey are ready to take action, or they may be passionate about what they are going to be doing that day, or again it may mean that they are feeling angry that day, on either a conscious or subconscious level. All are traits of the color red.
The Meaning of Colors
Red is the color of energy, passion, action, ambition and determination. It is also the color of anger and sexual passion.
Orange is the color of social communication and optimism. From a negative color meaning it is also a sign of pessimism and superficiality.
With the meaning of colors, in color psychology, yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. However it can also suggest impatience, criticism and cowardice.
Green is the color of balance and growth. It can mean both self-reliance as a positive and possessiveness as a negative, among many other meanings.
Blue is the color of trust and peace. It can suggest loyalty and integrity as well as conservatism and frigidity.
Indigo is the color of intuition. In the meaning of colors it can mean idealism and structure as well as ritualistic and addictive.
Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual or immature and impractical.
The color meaning of turquoise is communication and clarity of mind. It can also be impractical and idealistic.
The color psychology of pink is unconditional love and nurturing. Pink can also be immature, silly and girlish.
In the meaning of colors, magenta is a color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life.
The color brown is a friendly yet serious, down-to-earth color that relates to security, protection, comfort and material wealth.
From a color psychology perspective, gray is the color of compromise - being neither black nor white, it is the transition between two non-colors. It is unemotional and detached and can be indecisive.
Silver has a feminine energy; it is related to the moon and the ebb and flow of the tides - it is fluid, emotional, sensitive and mysterious.
Gold is the color of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the color psychology of gold implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.
White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion.
Black is the color of the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, creating an air of mystery. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world.

US and India topped the list of countries which sought Facebook account details during July-December 2015.
US and India topped the list of countries which sought Facebook account details during July-December 2015.
“We respond to valid requests relating to criminal cases. Each and every request we receive is checked for legal sufficiency and we reject or require greater specificity on requests that are overly broad or vague,” Facebook said in a report today.
While the US made 19,235 requests seeking details of 30,041 accounts, India forwarded 5,561 requests referring to 7,018 accounts.
In case of the US, Facebook provided details of 81.41 per cent requests, while it rejected half of the requests made by Indian authorities.
The social media giant also restricted access to 14,971 content in India. “We restricted access in India to categories of content in response to legal requests from government agencies, including law enforcement agencies,”
Facebook Head of Global Policy Management Monica Bickert told PTI. Facebook also restricted access to content in categories these agencies have identified as illegal that have been brought to attention by non-government entities like NGOs and members of the Facebook community, she added.
She further said: “Unless we receive a binding court order and/or a notification by an authorised agency which conforms to the constitutional safeguards, we will not remove any content brought to us by non-government entities like NGOs and others if it does not violate our community policy.”
“The majority of the content was restricted as alleged anti-religious and hate speech that could cause unrest and disharmony within India,” she said.
Technology firms have been pushing for greater transparency on government data requests, seeking to shake off user concerns that their data are being shared with government agencies in violation of user privacy.
India ranked second globally in restricting content on social networking platform Facebook, with 14,971 pieces of content restricted in the second half of 2015.
India stood next only to France, which restricted 37,695 pieces of content in July-December 2015, according to Facebook’s Government Requests Report.
Facebook received 5,561 requests for user data and 7,018 user accounts were referenced from India in the said period, it added.
India is home to the second largest user base with over 142 million users. Facebook has about 1.59 billion monthly active users as of December 2015.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Vijay Mallya says he is more than happy to stay safe in the UK and has no plans to leave that country
UB Group chairman and former liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya, who flew to the UK last month, has said he is in “forced exile” and bankers “are not getting any money” by taking his passport or arresting him.
In a four-hour interview with the Financial Times, Mallya said he remains an Indian patriot, who is “proud to fly the Indian flag”, but as the outcry around him continues, he is more than happy to stay safe in the UK and has no plans to leave that country.
India has asked the UK government to deport embattled Mallya, wanted for questioning in a money-laundering probe and being pursued by creditors for over Rs.9,000 crore in unpaid loans.
The request was made within days of a special court issuing a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Mallya, who flew to the UK on 2 March, as investigators and creditors to his grounded Kingfisher Airlines Ltd closed in on him.
The government last week revoked Mallya’s diplomatic passport—given to him by virtue of his status as a member of the Rajya Sabha—in an effort to bring him back to India. It suspended the passport on 15 April for four weeks on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing money-laundering allegations against him.
“We have always been in dialogue with banks, saying: ‘We wish to settle’. But we wish to settle at a reasonable number that we can afford and banks can justify on the basis of settlements done before,” Mallya told the Financial Times.
However, the business tycoon added: “By taking my passport or arresting me, they are not getting any money.”
Mallya told the newspaper that he has no plans to leave the UK, where he says he is in “forced exile”.
He blamed the lenders for declining his offer to pay over Rs.4,000 crore as settlement, adding that bankers are fearful of taking any haircut on their loans in the face of the public frenzy whipped up against him in India.
“It is important to understand the environment in India today. The electronic media is playing a huge role not just in moulding public opinion but in inflaming the government to a very large extent,” Mallya said in his first interview after leaving for the UK.
Mallya has also contested the Rs.9,000 crore outstanding amount reached by lenders, terming the sum an “inflated amount”.
He claimed the actual principal borrowed was a little over £500 million (Rs.4,870 crore), while interest as of 2013, when legal skirmishes over repayment began, was £120 million (Rs.1,170 crore).
“It is grossly unjust to apply compound interest and artificially inflate this figure,” he told Financial Times.
Mallya said his offer of a final settlement of £440 million was “way, way in excess of the World Bank average for settlement of bad debts”.
“As professional bankers, they would like to settle and move on but, because of my image as portrayed, they are reluctant to be seen as giving me any discount,” Mallya said.
“It will attract huge media criticism and inquiries by vigilance agencies in India,” said Mallya, who was known as the “King of Good Times” for his lifestyle.
On Monday, the ethics committee of the Rajya Sabha decided unanimously to expel Mallya from Parliament’s Upper House, and gave him a week’s time to explain his conduct in the default on bank loans.
Banks have been turning up the pressure on Mallya, seeking details of his assets both in India and overseas, and have won a favourable ruling from the Supreme Court. On 22 April, Mallya’s counsel told the court that banks had no right to seek details of assets held by him or his family abroad on grounds that he had been a non-resident Indian for income tax and foreign exchange purposes since 1988, while his estranged wife and three children are US citizens.

The decision to install these laser walls was taken by BSF two years ago keeping in mind the vulnerability of the border in these areas.
A dozen “laser walls” have been made operational along the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab to plug the porous riverine and treacherous terrain and keep an effective vigil against intruders and terrorists exploiting the frontier areas to cross over.
While eight infra-red and laser beam intrusion detection systems are “up and working” along as many vulnerable and sensitive areas of the international border (IB) in Punjab, four more will be operationalised in the next few days, a senior BSF official said.
The “laser walls” or fence are being monitored by Border Security Force (BSF) which guards the Indo-Pak IB in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The decision to install these laser walls was taken by BSF two years ago keeping in mind the vulnerability of the border in these areas as barbed wire fencing could not be installed in many infiltration prone areas due to treacherous terrain or marshy riverine topography.

Central Pollution Control Board finds that the waste treatment capacity of the cities barely covers 10% of their sewage
India’s apex pollution watchdog Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) monitors ambient air quality in 74 tier-II cities.
New Delhi: If you thought moving out of metro cities such as New Delhi and Mumbai can save you from pollution, think again. India’s 41 tier-II cities, including Tezpur, Rishikesh, Vapi, Angul, Sangrur and Gajraula, too are facing severe air and water pollution.
Starting this financial year, the government will spend Rs.553 crore across five years to bring down pollution. While only Rs.70 crore is allocated for the abatement of pollution in 2016-17, it is anticipated to more than double to Rs.150 crore in 2020-21.
The country’s apex pollution watchdog, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), monitors ambient air quality in 74 tier-II cities.
“Analysis of data shows that 41 cities exceed the ambient air quality standard. In addition, these cities are also facing problem of water pollution due to discharges of untreated sewage,” said Union minister for environment, forests and climate change Prakash Javadekar in Parliament on Tuesday, while replying to a query.
The CPCB estimated the sewage generation from these tier-II cities as 2,696.7 million litres per day (MLD), but their treatment capacity is not even 10% (only 233.7 MLD) of the total sewage generated, leaving a wide gap of 2,463 MLD.

“Also, water quality monitoring indicates that the rivers are polluted in downstream of major urban centres due to large-scale water abstraction and discharge of untreated/partially treated waste water and not meeting the criteria,” Javadekar added.
According to the minister, municipal corporations are largely unable to handle the entire sewage generated with the existing infrastructure.
The CPCB, along with State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs), monitors the status of pollution in cities under the National Air Quality Monitoring Programme and National Water Quality Monitoring Programme with a network of 612 stations and 2,500 locations, respectively.
The ministry has identified emission from automobiles, suspended dust, construction activities, industrial emissions and disposal of untreated and partially treated sewage as the main sources of the huge air and water pollution problem.
In the past few years, several studies have highlighted the problem of India’s increasing pollution levels—both air and water.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 13 of the world’s 20 most polluted cities in terms of air pollution are in India.
Though governments have taken some steps to curb pollution in Indian cities, they don’t seem to be enough.
Some of the steps taken to curb pollution include the setting up of a monitoring network for the assessment of ambient air and water quality, moving directly from BS-IV to BS-VI fuel standards by 1 April 2020, introduction of cleaner fuels such as CNG (compressed natural gas), action plan for sewage management and restoration of water quality in aquatic resources, amendments to various waste management rules, ban on burning leaves, promotion of public transport networks such as metro rail, buses, e-rickshaws and the promotion of car-pooling, among others.
Javadekar credits his ministry and state governments for such steps, stating that the level of pollution would have been worse in their absence.
“These steps have contributed in reducing pollution in Indian cities. But for the various steps taken by central government, state governments and Union territories and other agencies, the level of pollution would have been worse,” Javadekar said.

Actor Robert Downey Jr has confirmed that he will be working on a third movie in the 'Sherlock' film series before the end of 2016. He revealed that he has already been discussing the film with director Guy Ritchie. Downey Jr added that their busy schedules led to the delay as the last 'Sherlock' film was released in 2011.
Good news for Robert Downey Jr fans as you might finally get to see him as Sherlock again, thought not very soon. The actor and the movie’s director, Guy Ritchie will be starting work on a third movie in Sherlock series before the end of the year.
The film has been in the pipeline for nearly five years, reported Digital Spy.
“We’re talking about it right now. We can do some preliminary stuff,” Downey Jr told Shortlist - putting those fears at bay. If we could shoot it on Skype, we could have the whole (movie) done in a week.
“When we’re making those Sherlock movies, it is off the hook. (So) we’ll attempt to make one this year. It really is a big deal to go and do those movies. I’m tired all the time, but I’m so excited about it,” Downey Jr said.
The movie will be a follow-up to Ritchie’s 2009 Sherlock Holmes and 2011’s follow-up Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

As a guy, you may have been taught that washing your face with a bar of soap and scrubbing it dry are the only steps you need to take to care for your face. Taking care of your face doesn't have to be a big ordeal, but adding a few more steps to your routine can make a big difference if you want healthy-looking skin. Cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and shaving will leave your skin looking and feeling great.
Cleansing and Exfoliating
Cleansing and Exfoliating
1
Find a cleanser that works for your skin type. A good cleanser will help deep clean and remove debris in the pores that can lead to blemishes. Don't just use a bar of body soap, which can dry out your face and cause it to flake or create irritation. Look for a cleanser made with natural cleansing substances that is geared toward your skin type, whether it's dry, oily, or in between.
- The oil cleansing method is a great natural way to cleanse your skin. It sounds counterintuitive, but using a combination of natural oils clean your skin will get rid of the dirt without irritating your face. This is an excellent choice for people with any skin type, especially if you have acne.
- If you'd prefer to buy a cleanser with ingredients specifically geared toward treating acne, look for a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or benzyl peroxide. These have antibacterial qualities and are said to be effective in treating acne.
2
Wash your face once a day. Washing it more often than once a day can dry out your skin. Decide to cleanse your skin every morning or every night, but not both. If you want to freshen up in between cleanses, splash cool or lukewarm water on your face without using cleanser.
- Don't use hot water. Hot water dries out your skin, so use cool or lukewarm water instead.
- Pat your face dry instead of scrubbing it with a towel. Handling your facial skin roughly will cause it to loosen over time.
3
Don't go to bed wearing sunscreen or other products. If you slathered on sunscreen during the day, it's best to wash your face before bed. The sunscreen you use may have ingredients that can cause breakouts if left on the skin overnight.[3] On the other hand, if you didn't sweat or use sunscreen during the day, it's fine to give your skin a rest and skip a day of cleansing.
4
Exfoliate every few days. Using a facial scrub or facial exfoliating brush every few days will get rid of dead skin and dirt that doesn't come off with your daily wash. Exfoliating leaves skin brighter and healthier. It also helps prepare your face for shaving by softening the hairs and skin, making for a smoother, closer shave with fewer nicks and less irritation.
- When you exfoliate with a scrub, rub the scrub into your face using a gentle circular motion, then rinse.
- A dry facial brush is another very effective way to exfoliate. Purchase a brush made specifically for use on the face. Before you cleanse, use the brush to remove dead skin. Make sure your skin is dry when you use the brush, as it won't work as well on wet skin.
Moisturizing and Protecting Your Skin
1
Use a daily moisturizer. Whether you use a cream, a light oil, or another product, it's a good idea to moisturize your skin every day after washing. Doing so will help your skin retain its elasticity and keep it from feeling uncomfortably itchy or getting too flaky. Choose a good moisturizer that's right for your skin type.
- If your skin is on the dry side, choose a moisturizer with ingredients like olive oil, argan oil, shea butter, and lanolin.
- If your skin is oily, choose a moisturizer with lighter ingredients that won't sit on your skin all day.
2
Moisturize around your eyes. If you don't moisturize any other part of your face, at least rub some cream around your eyes. The skin there is more apt to start sagging over time, and using cream will keep it looking fresh.[4] Moisturizing in this area is especially important for older men, but it's never too early to start incorporating this into your routine.
- You don't have to go out and buy an expensive cream. Use some of your regular moisturizer or dab some coconut oil around your eyes.
3
Moisturize your lips. The skin on our lips doesn't have as many oil glands as the rest of the face, so lips are prone to getting dry and cracked very easily. Use lip balm or a swipe of coconut oil to keep your lips in good shape. You may need to use balm more often in the winter.
4
Use sunscreen. Facial skin can get easily damaged by sun exposure, so it's important to use sunscreen every time you go out. You can kill two birds with one stone by using a moisturizer with an spf over 15 in the winter and 30 in the summer. Don't forget to protect your lips from the sun, too.
- Wearing sunglasses in the summer also helps to protect the tender skin around your eyes
Shaving and Trimming
1
Use a good razor. Whether you like to be completely clean-shaven or you wear a mustache or a beard, you'll need to shave parts of your face every few days. Get a sharp, high-quality razor to do the job, rather than getting the cheapest kind you can find. Your skin will feel and look better if you use a razor designed for a close, even shave.
- If you use disposable razors, be sure to choose a brand that makes razors with double blades. These are more efficient and create a cleaner shave than a single blade.
- You can get an electric razor if you don't need a very close cut. These razors should be used on dry skin.
- A straight razor will create a close, precise shave. If you decide to purchase a straight razor, it will take some practice to develop the skill to shave without nicking yourself.
2
Wash your face with warm water. The warmth of the water will soften your skin and hairs, making it easier to shave. It's also important to cleanse your skin to get rid of dirt and bacteria on its surface in case you accidentally nick yourself shaving.
3
Apply shaving cream while your face is wet. This will lubricate your face so that the razor glides smoothly over its surface. Don't shave your face dry or without cream unless you're using an electric razor.
- Try to find a shaving cream or gel without a lot of chemicals, which can dry out or irritate your face.
- Let the shaving cream sit on your face for a few minutes to further soften your skin and hair before shaving.
4
Use the right shaving technique. It's not necessary to apply pressure to the razor when you draw it across your face. If the blade is sharp enough, the razor will do the job for you. Make sure you're shaving with the grain of your hairs, rather than against it, for a safe and effective shave.
- If you're shaving off stubble that has had several weeks to grow out, trim it using beard clippers first. Get it as short as possible before shaving.
- Dip your razor in warm water to unclog it every few minutes while you shave.
- Pull your skin taught as you shave to get the closest possible cut.
5
Rinse your face when you're finished. Use cold water to soothe your face and reduce bleeding from any nicks you might have gotten. Pat it dry with a towel - don't scrub.
6
Apply moisturizer. Use a moisturizing product that will soothe irritation from the shave. Be sure to use a product that doesn't contain ingredients that could sting your face after shaving.
7
Trim your facial hair. Use a sharp beard trimmer or scissors to trim your remaining facial hair into shape to keep it looking neat.

Today is the birthday of actress Samantha who has emerged as a top heroine in Tamil as well as Telugu film industries from the ranks of a girl born and brought up in Chennai as a simple girl next door.
Samantha graduated from Stella Maris college, Chennai. Even after becoming a top heroine, she has never had any qualms in revealing that she was not considered beautiful during her college days. That shows what level of hard work, dedication and perseverance has gone into her elevation as the most sought after heroine and the heroine with most number of admirers in both Tamil and Telugu.
Even after entering film industry,Samantha was not always greeted with success.
She made her acting debut playing the lead heroine in director Gautham Menon's 'Ye Maya Chesave', the Telugu version of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya', The film was a blockbuster in both the languages and Samantha become an instant favorite of Telugu audience.
She has had a mixed bag of films in Tamil but still continues to remain at the top and a most sought after heroine. This is because she has earned everone's admiration with her charm, cuteness, glamour and ofcourse performance skills. Even in the commercially unsuccessful films 'Neethane En Ponvasantham', '10 Endrathukulla' and 'Thangamagan', her performance has been appreciated by fans as well as critics.
The year 2016 has started with a bang for her with 'Theri' which released on April 14 and continues to break box office records. Samantha' performance in this Atlee directed Vijay starrer is one of the highlights and has found a mention in every review written for the film. Samantha has also successfully dubbed on her own in this film with sheer aplomb.
Her next big release will be '24' her second film with Suriya which is marching ahead to hit the screens on May 6 amid huge expectations. The chemistry between Suriya and Sammu is sparkling in the trailer and the audience can sure expect a memorable treat from this lead pair in the film.
In Telugu, Samantha continues her success streak as she is currently acting in 'Brammotsavam' with Mahesh Babu and 'Janatha Garage' with NTR Jr. She is also part of National award winning director Vetrimaran's ambitious project 'Vada Chennai'.
2016 and 2017 are going to be extremely crucial and promising for Samantha and we can expect to her to grab more biggies and powerful roles in the coming years.
Even after attaining the star status Samantha stays grounded. Her media and social media behaviour make people identify her as a honest, down-to-earth and kind-hearted person. She has also been undertaking some social welfare activities through a trust. That probably makes everyone feel Samantha as a girl from their household rather than a star dwelling in unreachable heights.
