Conservationists in Cambodia on Wednesday declared that tigers are "functionally extinct" while launching a plan to introduce tigers again in the country's forests. “It’s [the tiger] been hunted to extinction because of weak law enforcement and the government is now reacting,” the conservationists said. Cambodian officials said the project to get the tigers can cost $20 million to $50 million.
